Effective leadership starts with sleep

Better leadership starts with sleep: A research-backed playbook

Many of us view sleep as separate from our professional lives, suited only for personal spheres. But sleep has a direct impact on work performance, leadership, and ultimately our companies’ success.

That’s why we partnered withThe Work Innovation Lab by Asana , and leading scientist and performance physiologist Dr. Greg Wells, to conduct original research on sleep’s critical role in the future of work.

To our knowledge, our study is the first to examine the relationship between sleep and collaboration.

In some ways, this is understandable. Sleep is an individual activity and it’s not intuitive to think that it would impact our collaboration with others. But our study found that better sleep fueled more collaboration at work. In particular, participants in our study experienced a 55% increase in collaboration.

In addition to the collaboration benefits, we also found that when using the Chorus Sleep program, employees fell asleep faster, stayed asleep longer, and were more engaged and productive at work.

Based on our multi-month study we created a playbook, full of insights to help you implement better sleep, and in turn better outcomes at your organization.

In the playbook you'll learn:

  • What sleep leadership is (and why it’s a must have for our ever-changing times)
  • How high-quality sleep improves management and leadership
  • How sleep improves collaboration at work
  • Actionable steps you can take immediately to create a healthier, and more effective workforce.
